Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of an abnormality judging apparatus for the revolution speed sensors by suspending the abnormality judgement for the revolution speed sensors during the speed change switching of an automatic transmission. CONSTITUTION:The first revolution speed sensor M2 is arranged onto the input shaft side of an automatic transmission M1, and the second revolution speed sensor M3 is arranged onto the output shaft side, and the results of the detection on the both are input into an abnormality judging means M4, and the abnormality of the both revolution sensors M2 and M3 is observed. When it is detected by a speed change switching detecting means M5 that the automatic transmission M1 is in speed change operation, abnormality judgement is suspended by an abnormality judgement suspending means M6. Therefore, the erroneous judgement that the unstable revolution of the input/output shaft during speed change operation is judged as the abnormality of the revolution speed sensors M2 and M3 is prevented.
