X-ray microanalyzer
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To enable automatic setting of analysis conditions of a pulse height analyzer at a desired spectroscopic position free from the results of calculation of a program, by automatically setting a base level and a window width of the pulse height analyzer based on a driving pulse. CONSTITUTION:A resistance value can be varied according to the value of distance l from the point O to C by transmitting a pulse synchronizing the driving of a spectroscopic crystal 4 to a potentiometer 13 through a pulse motor 11 and a gear 12. The voltage proportional to the value of distance l can be obtained by a resistance-voltage conversion 14 of the resistance value. Furthermore, when the voltage is applied to an arithmetic unit 15, the voltage proportional to the peak value of the pulse and the voltage related to a window width is obtained by applying it to an arithmetic unit 16. This enables automatic setting of the set base level value and the set window value for the pulse height analyzer 22 corresponding to a desired l value in conjunction with the movement of the spectroscopic crystal 4.
