Drive controlling circuit for heater
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To use a heater of the same specification when power source voltage is AC 100-120V or AC 200-240V by supplying the voltage to a heater as it is in case of power source voltage is AC 100-120V, and supplying at every half wave when the voltage is AC 200-240V and thereby making the heating electric power the same. CONSTITUTION:When an ON signal transmitting device 5 is made ON by a pulse sent out by a pulse sending device 3, the device sends out a signal to maintain the ON state as it is. When voltage of an AC power source is 100-120V, a driving device 6 sends out a signal to drive a thyristor 2 at all times, and when voltage is 200-240V, sends out a signal to drive the thyristor 2 at every half wave. When the power source voltage is 100-120V, the driving circuit 6 operates the thyristor 2 at all times and supplies AC power source 100-120V to a heater 1, and when power source voltage is 200-240V, operates the thyristor 2 at every half wave of AC power source and supplies AC power source 200-240V to the heater 1 at every half wave.
