Piezo-oscillator

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent contact of water content or conductive substance between lead terminal of a piezoelectric vibrator by cutting off the two lead terminals for the piezoelectric vibrator on the different peripheral face of a packaging resin. CONSTITUTION:Lead terminals 7, 8 are lead terminals used for a crystal oscillator 4, one terminal is connected to a semiconductor element 1 by an Au wire 2, the other terminal is connected prolongly to a lead frame outer edge 15 and a lead wire 4' of the crystal oscillator 4 is welded to an island 12 provided in the vicinity of a connection 11. The semiconductor element 1, the Au wire 2, a lead frame 3, the crystal oscillator 4 and the lead terminals 7, 8 are included in the inside of a resin 6 such as an epoxy resin formed by transfer molding, and after the transfer mold resin 6 is cured, the lead terminals 7, 8 for the crystal oscillator 4 are cut off respectively on the different peripheral faces 13, 14 of the transfer mold resin 6.
