Dustproofing device for laser beam transmission path of laser beam machine

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent the adhesion of dusts to a mirror and to prevent the breakdown of the mirror and to increase the life as well by spraying the dry air fed out from a compressor to the reflecting mirror fixed inside the duct. CONSTITUTION:Dusts are sucked to the inner part with air by extending elastic ducts 9, 10, 11 by the transmission of a laser beam 14. The adhesion of dusts to reflecting mirrors 3, 4 is prevented by blowing dry air to the reflecting mirrors 3, 4 via compressors 15, 16. The deposition of dusts on the ducts 5, 6, 7, 8 and mirror 4, etc. is prevented by opening the shutters 21, 22 excepting the transmission time of a laser beam 14, by closing the shutters 21, 22 excepting the transmission time of the laser beam 14 by providing the shutters 21, 22 on a mirror holding part 2. The life of the mirror can thus be increased.
