Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To discriminate easily whether soldering has been executed satisfactorily or not, and to execute soldering having a high reliability by irradiating a beam to a part where solder jet wave is detached from a light transmittable plate to be soldered, and viewing and monitoring a detached waveform of a jet wave from the upper part of said plate. CONSTITUTION:A beam 22 is irradiated from a light source 21 such as a halogen lamp, etc. to a part 18 where a solder jet wave 17 is detached from a light transmittable plate to be soldered P of a glass epoxy resin. etc., on the lower face of said plate P. As a result, a part the where the jet wave 17 has contacted to the lower face of the plate becomes a shadow and appears clearly on the upper face of the plate, and whether a soldered state is good or not is decided by viewing a waveform 19 of the part 18 where the jet wave 17 is detached from the lower face of the plate P, from the upper part of the plate P, and monitoring its detached waveform 19. That is to say, in case the waveform 19 is roughly linear, it is a good state, but in case of a wave shape, it is an underside state, therefore, it is converted to the linear waveform 19 by taking suitable steps.
