Electrode plate for color display device

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To remove miswiring and to narrow a picture element pitch by constituting a metallic thin film pattern of terminal parts formed in respective color arrays and lead parts connecting transparent electrodes in an effective display part and covering the lead parts with an overcoat. CONSTITUTION:Nickel or the like is patterned on a glass plate 1 to be a transparent substrate at first to form transparent electrodes 2, lead parts 4 and terminal parts 3 and then R, G, and B patterns and color filters R, G, B are successively formed. Then, an overcoat pattern is laminated over the color filters R, G, B and the lead parts 4 so as to smooth and level the color filters and prevent the connection parts 4 from shorting with adjacent parts at the time of connection. Thus, the yield and reliability of products are improved.
