Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To improve the utilizing efficiency of a line by providing an inter- processor channel and a common line signal channel to each device in a node so as to apply channel assignment and routing in matching with communication traffic. CONSTITUTION:A communication line signal channel 215 is a common signal line and connected to a multiplexer 106 and to a processor PROC of a line converter 103. The PROC of the converter 103,a PROC of a host computer 105 and PROCs of the multiplexer 106 are communicated via an interface INT of each device. The information of a channel band is sent to PROC of an opposite node from the PROC of the converter 103 via a common line signal device CSE for call connection information communication, a channel 215, the multiplexer 106 and a high speed digital line 120. Further, the information from the opposite node is processed similarly and the dynamic channel assignment and routing are attained in matching with the communication traffic to improve the utilizing efficiency of the line.
