Antenna for portable radio equipment
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a portable radio equipment antenna incorporated with a cooling function by sealing a liquid in a hollow part of an insulating cylinder to form a heat pipe and providing a coil conductive part on the surface of the peripheral of the cylinder or the inside of a side wall so as to apply heat dissipation. CONSTITUTION:The heat from a heat element in a case of a portable radio equipment reaches a fitting part 14 of an antenna 10 via a seat. The operating liquid in a chamber 15 is evaporated by the heat and the entire inner face of the cylinder 12 made of a insulating material and the heat is dissipated externally from the outer face. Further, the vapor is liquidified and the liquid returns to the fitting part 14 by gravity and wings provided to the inner wall to cool the heat element again. On the other hand, an electrical signal from an electronic circuit placed in the case is transmitted or received from a coil- shaped conduction part 11 through a conducting part. Thus, a heat sink or the like is not required by dissipating the heat generated in the radio equipment in this way, and the size is decreased for a radio equipment for a high output.
