Supercharge-type internal-combustion engine

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To improve performance of responsiveness by arranging a carburetor inside a pipe for communicating a crank chamber with a combustion chamber in order to shorten a passage from the carburetor up to the combustion chamber. CONSTITUTION:Air is taken into a crank chamber 5a from an intake pipe 15 when a piston 11 ascends, and compressed air is supplied into the chamber 17a of a communicating pipe 17 from the crank chamber 5a when the piston 11 descends. Then, when the intake port 20 of a combustion chamber 19 is opened with descending motion of a piston, compressed air inside a chamber 17a passes through the valve body 23 of a carburetor 22 so as to supercharge mixed air into the combustion chamber 19. The chamber 17a with specified capacity is formed in the communicating pipe 17, and the carburetor 22 is stored into the chamber 17a.
