Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To easily recognize the character and graphic of a liquid crystal display board even when the user of a telephone set changes the using position of the telephone set, by automatically adjusting the visual angle of the liquid crystal display to the direction of the handset. CONSTITUTION:When, for example, the user of this telephone set stands up while holding the handset 13 of this telephone set, the connecting code 14 is moved upward together with the handset 13. Then an angle detecting section 15 rotates and the voltage of a visual angle controlling line 23 is changed by a rotary type variable resistor 21 and, as a result, the visual angle of a liquid crystal display board circuit 22 is changed upward. Therefore, the user can recognize the characters and graphics displayed on a liquid crystal display board 11 while standing.
