Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To make it possible to more effectively use a battery driving apparatus by stepwise informing the voltage drop of a battery to an operator, by simultaneously changing the number of display symbols and ON-and-OFF frequency as the voltage of the battery changes. CONSTITUTION:A power source part 1 contains a battery and supplies power to an apparatus to be driven while a control part 2 controls the operation of each part and a battery voltage detection part 3 detects the voltage drop of the battery in a state divided into two stages. A display part 4 displaying a display symbol for performing the alarm of the voltage drop of the battery uses a 10-figure liquid crystal display device and a clock generation circuit 5 is used in order to turn the display symbol ON and OFF. Then, the display number of the display symbols and the ON-and-OFF frequency of the display symbol are simultaneously changed as the voltage of the battery changes. By this method, more efficient operation, such that the preparation of the replacement of the battery is preliminarily performed, is enabled.
