Input device for photographing information of camera

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To arrange an input and display means at the narrow space on a upper camera surface and to improve the operability by displaying a pattern concerning the photographing information inputted to a switch means by using an electrooptic element. CONSTITUTION:When a panel 104 is pressured through a window 105 of a photographing information input device 10, electrodes X and Y are contacted, one of respective patterns 101a-101h printed corresponding to the intersection is surrounded by a liquid crystal display P1 and it is observed through the window 105. A liquid crystal displaying part 7 is equipped with digital displaying parts 7a-7c to show the contraction value, the number of frames, etc., and with a switch 8, the figure is increased and decreased. The patterns 101a-101h display eight photographing modes, for example, a display 101a is pushed, the contraction mode is selected, the switch 8 is operated, and a figure 7b is set to the desired contraction value. Consequently, a displaying device 7 and an input means 10 are made compact, arranged to the narrow space of the camera upper surface and the method to use can be improved.
