Slips conveying device

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To improve paper feed performance, by a method wherein a paper feeding mechanism, movable depending upon the size of slips, is mounted for engagement with a slip taking-out side end part. CONSTITUTION:Based on the size of a slip P inputted as a format data, a motor 17 is driven for control to rotate a threaded shaft 16. The rotation causes movement in the direction of an arrow mark X of a paper feeding mechanism 4 through a block 14, and is set to a position suitable to the size of the slip P. After paper feed belts 6 and 6' of the paper feeding mechanism 4 are forced into contact with the slip P on a feed table 1 as the paper feed belts are rotated in the direction of an arrow mark Y and the slips P are taken out from the feed table 1 one by one, the slips are held between the nip formed by the paper feed belts 6, 6' and a feed roller to convey out the slips.
