Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent the whole transmission efficiency from reduction even if the number of elements is increased by constituting a waveguide type power distributor/synthesizer for supplying electric power to antenna elements together with a ground conductive layer, forming a groove for forming a waveguide on one surface of said distributor/synthesizer and electrically coupling a feeding point with said groove. CONSTITUTION:An antenna body 10 consists of a dielectric base plate 21 the ground conductive layer 22 and the antenna elements 11-14. Feeding probes 31-34 are formed on the feeding points of respective elements 11-14 so as to be penetrate into the base plate 21 and the layer 22 and connected to respective elements 11-14 with soldering. A base plate 20 for the power distributor/ synthesizer is made of a metal plate and the groove 25 forming the waveguide together with the layer 22 is formed on one surface of the base plate 20. Electric power supplied to an input port 26 is transmitted to output ports 41-44 through respective waveguides of the power distributor/synthesizer 28 and applied to the elements 11-14 through the probes 31-34. Since the transmission loss of respective waveguides is slight, the transmission loss of the power distributing course is not increased even if the number of elements is increased.
