Ink vessel for ink jet recording device
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To manufacture an ink jet head, which can conduct the detection of the use-up of ink and printing positively and maintenance and mounting thereof are easily enabled, by covering a flexible printed circuit substrate and an ink use-up detecting pin mounted onto one wall surface or a plurality of wall surfaces of an ink vessel with the same plastic member as the ink vessel. CONSTITUTION:An ink vessel is connected to a printing head. An ink use-up detecting pin 21 fitted on one wall surface or a plurality of wall surfaces of an ink vessel 6 moved loaded on a carriage, FPC 1-3 as a wiring material to the ink use-up detecting pin 21, and a FPC introducing hole 32 through which FPC 1-3 is introduced into the printing head are all covered with plastics having the same quality of materials as the ink vessel, and the periphery is hermetically sealed with solvent cement 9. Accordingly, the state, in which the ink use-up detecting pin 21, PFC 1-3 and the FPC introducing hole 32 are brought into contact with ink, and the intrusion of ink into the printing head 7 are removed completely, thus manufacturing the printing head through which the impossibility of the detection of the use-up of ink, unable printing, defective printing and disconnections on maintenance and on dismantling and mounting are not generated.
