Char bed top temperature measuring device for recovery boiler

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To increase the working efficiency of a recovery boiler, by a method wherein the view point of a radiation temperature gauge is scanned in a direction extending perpendicularly to a char bed with a scanning mechanism, and the temperature of the top of the char bed is measured on the basis of the obtained radiation energy strength distribution. CONSTITUTION:Black solution, discharged during a chip-digesting process, is burnt to generate steam, and a chemical raw material for chip digesting is recovered. A radiation thermometer 12, having sensitivity in a wavelength band being difficult to be influenced by radiation of a gas material in a boiler, is mounted to the furnace wall of the boiler. The viewpoint of the radiation thermometer 12 is scanned in a direction extending perpendicularly to a char bed 11 with a scanning mechanism 15, and a top temperature measuring means 20 simply and high-precisely measures the top temperature of the char bed 11 on the basis of radiation energy strength distribution extending along the scanning line of the radiation thermometer 12 scanned by the scanning mechanism 15. This enables stabilization of operation of a recovery boiler and increase of the efficiency thereof.
