Display system for telephone number

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To make a simple, easy-to-see display by shifting a number following a specific digit of the tail of a telephone number recorded temporarily in a memory, one by one, and inserting delimiters into the formed blank, and displaying the telephone number which includes the delimiters on a display device. CONSTITUTION:The number of digits of a telephone number of termination or origination is investigated and analyzed and when the telephone number is longer than the specific number of digits, the telephone number is recorded temporarily in the memory 12. The number following the specific digit of the tail of the telephone number is shifted, one by one, the delimiters are inserted into the formed blank part, and the telephone number including the delimiters is displayed on the display device 7. Consequently, the telephone number of the opposite subscriber called from a network at the time of termination and the telephone number of the calling subscriber which originates to the network at the time of origination are displayed on the display device in an easy-to-see state because the delimiter are inserted automatically.
