Parabolic antenna

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a parabolic antenna which has the reduced deterioration in reception efficiency by attaching the upper and lower parts of a parabolic surface reinforced by a flange, etc. to the outer circumferential part of the antenna with an attachment metallic parts with fixing avoided between the back center part of the parabolic surface and the attachment metallic fixture and receiving the strength of the parabolic surface itself by the flange surface. CONSTITUTION:A parabolic surface 1 is fixed to the upper and lower attachment arms 17 and 18 of an attachment metallic fixture 3 at the upper and lower parts of a flange set in the long axis direction. a converter 2 is fixed to the tip of a converter attachment arm 19 by a screw via a screw hole 19' so that the converter 2 is set at the focal point part of the surface 1. Then the fixture 3 is connected tight to an antenna column 16 via U-bolt 6, a fixing tool 7 and a butterfly nut 8. At the same time, the lower bent part of the fixture 3 is also connected tight to the column 16 via a long U-bolt 9, a U-bolt fixing tool 10 and a butterfly nut 11. Then the column fixing tools 13 and 14 and butterfly nuts 12 and 15 are used for control of the angle of elevation, i.e., one of directivities of a parabolic antenna. Then a butterfly nut 15 is tightened to fix the antenna body.
