Elevator for dump loader

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of operations by a method in which a load sensor to detect weights of objects to be scooped up is provided for an oil- pressure circuit to vertically move a loader attachment, and on the basis of the weights detected, a pressure regulator is operated to adjust the speed of lowering. CONSTITUTION:A pressure regulator 3 consists of a load sensor 12 and a pressure switch valve 13. When weights above a fixed weight of objects to be scooped up, which act on a loader attachment 1, are detected by a load sensor 12, the opening degree of the valve 13 is throttled, and also when the weights are reduced, the opening degree is increased. During the period when the valve 13 is throttled, the contracting speed of a lift cylinder 5 is regulated, and the lowering speed of the attachment 1 is reduced. When the valve 13 is opened, the loader is lowered according to oil pressure on the contracted side. The lowering speed is not reduced even when the weight of load is small. Also, when the weight is heavier, the lowering speed is regulated to protect the loader from impact, etc.
