Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To process plural transaction affairs without increasing the number of function keys on a keyboard by using a storing means of which contents can be rewritten from the external as a conversion information storing means for outputting converted output information in response to a key signal corresponding to a depressed key. CONSTITUTION:When an operator depresses a key, a key signal 2 is generated from a key signal generating part 1. A conversion information 3 from the external has the information of a conversion code corresponding to the key signal 2 and is stored in a conversion information storing means 4. The contents of the means 4 can be rewritten on occasion by the conversion information 3 and the means 4 has the information of the conversion code corresponding to the key signal 2. When the key signal 2 is generated, the means 5 selects the corresponding code from the conversion information 3 stored in the means 4 and outputs a conversion code 6 to the external.
