Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To provide a TV receiver with multifunction by displaying plural slave screen animations based upon a video signal obtained from a D/A converter on a part of a normal image based upon a video signal obtained from the 1st signal processing means. CONSTITUTION:A video signal read out from a field memory 16 is uniformed at its timing by an output latch circuit 26, converted into an analog signal by a D/A converter 17, and at the display of slave screens, the analog signal is amplified by a video output circuit 7 through a video output changing switch 18 and applied to a CRT 9. The switch 18 applies the slave screen video signal obtained from the D/A converter 17 to the video output circuit 7 at the display of the slave screens, and at the display of the master screen, applies the master screen video signal obtained from a video signal processing circuit 6 in the 1st signal processing means 14 to the circuit 7, so that the master screen and three slave screens are displayed.
