Idle rotation speed control device in engine
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To make it possible to prevent the rotational speed of an engine from greatly dropping from a desired rotational speed, by setting a feed-back control amount of an idle rotational speed adjusting means to a small value during a predetermined period after the engine returns into the idle running range. CONSTITUTION:An engine control device 9 determines that the operation of an engine is in an idle running range to be subjected to feed-back control if the rotational speed of the engine detected by a rotational speed sensor 21 is below a predetermined value, and calculates a desired rotational speed Ne in accordance with the temperature of cooling water, etc. within a predetermined time set by a timer if the operation of the engine is just after returning into the idle running range. Just after the returning, an actual rotational speed N detected by a rotational speed sensor 21 is such as N>Ne, and therefore, the amount of feed-back is set to a small value, and therefore, the opening degree of a solenoid valve 18 is gradually decreased to lower the rotational speed N down to Ne. Further, after lapse of the timer set time the amount of feed- back control is turned to be large. Thus, it is possible to aim at enhancing the running ability of the engine in the idler running range.
