Thermoplastic resin composition

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition with highly good balance between impact resistance, heat resistance and processability, by blending a polyphenylene ether resin, polyester, specific modified ethylene-alpha-olefin copolymer and specific styrene copolymer. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by blending (A) 3.5-95 (pref. 10-50)wt% of a polyphenylene ether resin, (B) 95-3.5 (pref. 80-35)wt% of a polyester, (C) 1-50 (pref. 5-25)wt% of either unsaturated acid anhydride - or unsaturated acid-modified ethylene-alpha-olefin copolymer and (D) 0.5-90 (pref. 0.5-40)wt% of a copolymer from styrene monomer and unsaturated compound selected from unsaturated dicarboxylic acid anhydride, unsaturated acid, epoxy group-contg. unsaturated compound and amino group-contg. vinyl monomer.
