Method for controlling speed change of automatic speed change gear

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To enable better up shift without speed change shock by completing low gear shift by keeping a friction connecting means of a sub speed change gear for a predetermined time in high gear shift of a main speed change gear. CONSTITUTION:When speed change is judged, an electromagnetic solenoid valve S1 is turned ON so changeover a first shift valve V1 controlling a main speed change gear after a predetermined time, and oil pressure is started to be supplied to a brake B2 and an inertia phase of the main speed change gear is started and rotating number of each number of the main speed change gear begins to change. Then, speed change instruction is given to an electromagnetic solenoid valve S3 and a third shift valve V3 is changed over, and oil pressure of a brake B0 is drained so as to be kept for a fixed time at a proper level according to the throttle opening, and low gear shift of the sub speed change gear is started and completed with the inertia phase of the main speed change gear.
