Processing method of image data

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To eliminate factors of noise or the like to perform the image processing inexpensively and automatically by eliminating data of the same vector with respect to vector data obtained by extracting the outline of binarized image data. CONSTITUTION:Image data AA obtained by a picture signal detecting means 10 of a camera or the like is binarized by a binarizing means 11, and an output binary signal BB is inputted to an outline edge extracting means 13. The outline of the image is extracted by the outline edge extracting means 13, and its edges are extracted and outputted. Edge data EE outputted in this manner is inputted to a thinning means 12. Vector data MM remaining after thinning of the binary signal BB by the thinning means 12 is inputted to a smoothing means 14. The smoothing means 14 performs smoothing that individual data of vector data MM are connected by prescribed curves, and a smoothing signal NN obtained in this manner is sent to a cutter or the like, and a cut mask or the like is generated finally.
