Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To relinquish a packet arriving within a loop circulating time from the loop as an own station transmission packet by providing a counter started just after the start of packet transmission to each station and counting a transmission clock. CONSTITUTION:An asynchronous area DASY data is delayed for a time required for transmission/reception and relinquishment by a delay circuit 28, fed to an SD detector 29, an ED detector 30, a packet transmission circuit and a control section 31, where a header SD, an end ED and a tomen TK of a packet signal are detected respectively. An output of the circuits 29, 30 is fed to a relinquishing gate control circuit 33 and an output of the control section 31 is fed to the circuit 33 via a counter 32. Then the circuit 33 uses a signal from the counter 32 and the detector 29 to discriminate the own station transmission packet, and uses a signal of the detector 30 to output a lost signal of the SD and ED of the own station transmission packet and the relinquishment gate 34 relinquishes the own station transmission packet passing through the circuit 28.
