Scroll type hydraulic machine

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To produce higher resistive moment resisting torsional moment on a revolving scroll by forming a high pressure chamber on the side of the rear surface of the revolving scroll as well as on the side of the outer periphery of the revolving scroll. CONSTITUTION:A scroll type hydrodynamic machine suitable for a compressor of a refrigeration unit sucks in and compresses a refrigerant, and discharge it from a discharge pipe 10 by revolving a revolving scroll 2 with respect to a fixed scroll 1 engaged therewith via a crank shaft 7 by means of a motor 4 being driven. Thereupon, a high pressure chamber 21 separated from a low pressure chamber 19 is provided on the side of the rear surface of the revolving scroll 2 as well as on the side of the outer periphery of the revolving scroll 2 via a sealing member 17. The high pressure chamber 21 is communicated with a discharge chamber 12 via a high pressure line 20 formed in the fixed scroll 1, and the revolving scroll 2 is adapted to be pressed against the side of the fixed scroll 1 applying high pressure on the pressure receiving surface 2a of the high pressure chamber 21.
