Charge control inkjet printer
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a charge control inkjet printer which enables highly readable printing even in a draft printing, by thinning out bits at odd positions in the first column and at the even positions in the subsequent column and repeating this sequence. CONSTITUTION:An (n) bit parallel serial conversion circuit 11 and a n/2 bit parallel serial conversion circuit 12 are connected together in a thinning circuit 10 with n/2 pieces of switches S and either even bits or odd bits are selected from one line of (n) bit parallel data to shift data of n/2 bits to an n/2 bit parallel serial conversion circuit 12. The enven/odd bit changeover is done by an output of a binary F/F23 using carry up of a subscanning counter 21 as clock. On the other hand, in the thinning of the subscanning counter 21, counter outputs in the first column are produced in the sequence of 0 2 4 8 ... while those in the second column, in the sequence of 1 3 5 7 ... to determine positions where the drafted data from the data thinning circuit 10 to be printed.
