Hollow yarn with modified section

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:The titled novel hollow yarn having no defects of characteristics such as bulkiness, fastness to crimp, contamination resistance, heat retaining properties, etc., having a synthetic fiber section of a specific modified pipe section consisting of a polymer part and a hollow part. CONSTITUTION:The titled hollow yarn having the polymer part 1 and the hollow part 2, the outer peripheral part 3 of the polymer part 1 has 3-8 dent parts, A1, A2,..., and 3-8 protrusions B1, B2,... neighboring these dent parts, and the outer peripheral part 3 has 1.5-3.5 degree of deformation. The outer peripheral part 4 of the hollow part 2 has 1.5-6.0 degree of deformation, has the dent parts C1, C2,... at the positions corresponding to the dents A1, A2,..., and the protrusions D1, D2,... at the positions corresponding to the protrusions B1, B2,..., and the hollow yarn T of modified section comprising the polymer part 1 and the hollow part 2 has a ratio of the sectional area of the hollow part 2 to the sectional area of the hollow yarn 100 is 15-65.
