Package commodities processing system in distribution center

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To classify and arrange commodities efficiently, by throwing various sorts of package commodities received from respective markers or the like once into a rotary rack so that picking work can be carried out in a regular schedule. CONSTITUTION:Various sorts and much quantities of package commodities received from respective markers or wholesalers are thrown in a rotary rack 2, then subjected to picking from the rotary rack and packed in respective separate totes according to orders of respective shops. Then, these totes for packed commodities are assorted for each shop and arranged according to the destinations for delivery before making shipment thereof. Such instruction of picking and works on arranging totes are controlled by a computer 27, so that works for classifying and arranging various sorts and much quantities of commodities can be achieved rapidly and efficiently, per shop and per destination of delivery.
