Reading method of picture

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a correct read-out picture even if a manual feed speed changes by correcting the speed of the read-out picture and the dislocation of a picture plane based on the speed obtained by means of two sets of linear image sensors. CONSTITUTION:The 1st sensor 6-1 and 2nd sensor 6-2 are disposed by certain interval with respect to a manual feed direction 4, and a picture is read. With respect to a picture 8-1 read by the sensor 6-1 in a certain state (a), the correlation between a picture 8' read by the sensor 6-2 and a line is taken. When its decided value 9 becomes maximum, it is regarded as a state (b), and a number (m) of lines read in such a period is counted. As a result, the obtained number (m) is matched to the manual feed speed. When the read-out picture is corrected based on the speed, the properly read-out picture can be obtained even if the manual feed speed changes.
