Material termination device in winder

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To facilitate termination in a device for twisting the terminal of material and preventing undoing of the end of the material wound over a bobbin, by twisting the terminal of material through co-operation of tie-click, torsion-click, etc. and deforming not to be recovered. CONSTITUTION:Upon winding predetermined amount of material over a bobbin 48 in a winder, a motor is stopped to move a traverse guide 47 to a tie-click 4 side then the motor is driven temporarily thus to wind the material several turns over the bobbin 48 from the right end. Then a brakeshoe 21 is pulled by a cam lever 8 which is rolled through a cam X for turning the tie-click thus to brake a brake wheel 19 and to feed the material by predetermined amount through carrying means. Then a sliding rod 11 is pulled down to rotate the tie- gear 3 thus to form a tie-ring at the front right end of the bobbin 48. Thereafter, a torsion-click table 23 is turned to hook the tie-click 24 to the tie-ring then twisted several times to complete the necessary termination.
