Paper carrier

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent jamming and breaking of paper in such paper carrier where a portion of paper carrying board is exposed and provided with a rectangular sensor, by setting the linear side at the joint between the carrying board and the sensor into non-perpendicular angle against the carrying direction. CONSTITUTION:In a bill discriminator, a bill 1 is carried by means of plural pairs of rollers 2 along a carrying path defined between the carrying boards 3, 3 arranged while facing vertically with proper interval. A sensor 105 is provided on the carrying board 3 in the way of said carrying path for the purpose to identify the true bill 1. Here, a rectangular sensor 105 having rectangular portion exposed to the carrying path is employed and the linear side of said sensor 105 is directed non-perpendicularly against the feeding direction of bill 1. Consequently, collision or entangling of bill 1 against the sensor 105 can be prevented to prevent jamming or breaking of bill 1.
