Piezoelectric linear motor
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a piezoelectric linear motor which has a long lifetime and a ready manipulation by symmetrically disposing a contactor and a pressure adjusting screw with respect to a rail and holding the position of a slide constant by the adjusting screw. CONSTITUTION:A contactor 1 disposed symmetrically with respect to a resilient rail 1, two sets of springs 3 provided at a slide frame 8, and pressure adjusting screws 5 threaded into the hole 4 of both threaded side surfaces of the slide are provided to form a piezoelectric linear motor. Thus, the contactor 2 is pressurized by the springs 3 to the rails 1, but the pressure force on the rail 1 of the contactor 2 is adjusted by turning the screw 5. Since the screw 5 and the contactor 2 are disposed symmetrically with respect to the rail 1, the position of the slide 8 can be held at the prescribed location even if a wear occurs.
