Finned tube type heat exchanger
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To realize high heat transfer rate by a structure wherein more than one kind of different wave form are provided respectively both on fin cut-and- rised parts and on fin base parts so as to position the downstream side fin outside the upstream side temperature boundary layer. CONSTITUTION:Wave forms, which are respectively different from one another, are formed on cut-and-rised parts 2 and on fin base parts 3. Accordingly, inflowing air current 5 develops temperature boundary layers at upstream side fins. However, because downstream side fins locate away from the center of said temperature boundary layers, the downstream side fins can keep on having high heat transfer rate. Concretely, wave forms adjoining to each other on the upright shaved parts 2 and on the fin base parts 3 do not fall on when viewed in the direction of the air current 5 or the wave forms can be placed apart from the position, on which the wave forms fall commonly. Accordingly, because the downstream side wave form fins locate outside the temperature boundary layers of the upstream side wave form fins, the total heat transfer rate of the titled heat exchanger is improved.
