Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To provide a compact transmission case by providing a frictional transmission disk at one side and a piston at the other side of an idling gear. CONSTITUTION:On one side of an idling gear G of each gear transmission system is provided a frictional transmission disk 9 fixed to a transmission shaft 6 while a piston 10 is provided on the other side. When pressurized oil is supplied to a back pressure chamber of the piston 10, the idling gear G is sandwiched between the piston 10 and the frictional transmission disk 9 to interconnect integrally the gear G and the transmission shaft 6 supporting the gear G. Thus, the axial length of a transmission clutch can be shortened so that a compact transmission case can be provided.
