Transmission and reception circuit

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To transmit and receive correctly a base band signal by allowing a transmission side to transmit a transmission signal after differentiating it once and allowing a reception side to demodulate the transmission signal from a signal of one polarity as the differentiation again to apply AC coupling to a communication medium. CONSTITUTION:The base band signal 9 from a base band signal transmission circuit 11 is transmitted to the communication medium 10 via an AC coupling capacitor 8. In selecting the capacitor 8 as 0.013muF and a termination resistor 19 of the medium 10 as 75OMEGA, the time constant is nearly 1musec. In selecting a transmission speed of data as 10kbps, one-bit length of the signal 9 is 100musec. A differentiation signal of 1musec is differentiated by the time constant depending on a reception side AC coupling capacitor 9 and an input impedance and a negative differentiated signal is eliminated by a diode 17. An output level of an FF circuit in a toggle mode 18 is inverted every time the signal is inputted and the signal is demodulated into a waveform near the base band signal at the transmission side.
