Auto/manual water-cock apparatus

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To permit the manual operation in case of service interruption by installing a water-cock in which one valve piece can be opened and closed separately by a manual operation means and an automatic operation means and the states of the both means are interlocked with each other. CONSTITUTION:A water-cock 1 can be opened and closed by raising and lowering a manual lever 2, and automatic cock opening and closing are permitted by the drive of a driving part 3 consisting of a motor, etc. Said driving part 3 drives the valve mechanism of the water-cock 1 on the basis of the cock opening control signal and the cock closing control signal supplied from a control part 4. When an operation signal is input into the control part 4 through an operation input part 5 from a sensor 6 in the closed-cock state, the control part 4 transmits the cock opening control signal into the driving part 3. When the operation signal is input into the control part 4 again, from the sensor 6, the cock closing control signal is transmitted into the driving part 3.
