Power element
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To improve the response ability of bellows by forming a power element so that a temperature sensing cylinder can be closely and lockedly engaged with a metallic blister to accelerate the heat exchange velocity in detecting temperature. CONSTITUTION:Metallic blisters 10 and 11 are closely and lockedly engaged with the internal and external surfaces of a temperature sensing cylinder 1 by means of press-fitting, etc. A bellows 2 is communicated with a temperature sensing cylinder 1 through a capillary tube 3. A fixing plate 4 fixes to be sealed the bellows 2 and the capillary tube 3, in which furthermore a cooling medium 5 causing a pressure change due to temperature is enclosed. Since the timperature sensing cylinder 1 is closely and lockedly engaged with the metallic blisters having a large surface area in this way, the heat exchanging area of the temperature sensing cylinder 1 is enlarged. Accordingly, even if a liquid cooling medium 5a having relatively large heat capacity exists in the inside of the temperature sensing cylinder, quick heat exchange can be attained, and a power element having good response ability of bellows 2 can be obtained.
