Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To aim at reduction in hull resistance as a whole, by jetting compressed air to a ship bottom part under the water line of a ship, while reducing a degree of frictional resistance in a hull submerged part. CONSTITUTION:A compressed air injection pipe is attached to a ship bottom part under the water line of a ship, jetting compressed air through the pipe, whereby an air bubble layer is formed on an outer surface part of the ship, and frictional resistance in a hull submerged part is reduced, thus reduction in hull resistance as a whole is promoted.
