Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To transmit information from the ground to a train BY using a rail circuit without impeding detection of a train by modulating sligthly to a degree that does not destroy phase conditions of a receiving section for detecting train. CONSTITUTION:A transmitting section A, a rail R and a receiving section B consititute a rail circuit for train. When a train V enters a section, the rail is short-circuited by an axle 6, and consequently, a receiving input through the rail becomes nil in the ground receiving section B. Accordingly, a rail relay 5 falls down and the presence of a train is detected. On the other hand, when transmitting information to a train, the transmitting and receiving section A modulates the carries wave by a modulator 3 using signal wave of specified frequency outputted from a signal generating circuit 2 and sends out through an amplifier 4. In this case, a modulator 3 that makes slight modulation that does not flutter the rail relay 5 is used.
