Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain the superior brake performance irrespectively of the sharp spin-up of a nonsteered wheel by prohibiting the high-value selection and using the pseudo car-speed of the nonsteered wheel as the pseudo-car-speed of a driving wheel for a certain time, when the wheel acceleration speed of the nonsteered wheel is over a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:The higher value between the wheel speed Vw 1 of a nonsteered wheel 4 and the pseudo-car-speed Vi 1 obtained from the wheel speed Vw 1 by an antiskid control circuit 5 is selected by a higher-value selecting crcuit 6, and the pseudo-car-speed Vi 2 used in the antiskid control circuit 8 of a driving wheel 7 is outputted, and an acceleration-speed detecting means 9 for detecting the wheel acceleration-speed for the nonsteered wheel 4 is provided. On a high-mu road surface, the spin-up for the nonsteered wheel 4 is sharply performed, and when the wheel acceleration over a set value is generated, the operation of the high-value selecting circuit 6 is prohibited for a prescribed time by a high-value selection prohibiting means 10. Therefore, the switching to the wheel speed Vw 1 of the nonsteered wheel 4 through the spin-up of the pseudo-car-speed Vi 2 of the driving wheel 7 is prohibited.
