Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To improve the support performance by supporting cushion materials through a spring that is provided on the upper part of a seat frame in the horizontal direction and providing an air bag to which a valve automatically closing at high acceleration is connected at the lower side of the spring. CONSTITUTION:When a driver is seated on a seat cushion 4 and runs a car, the internal air is exhausted slowly if an air bag 12 at the lower part of a femoral support section 6 is pressed by the step-in operation of a clutch pedal and such. In addition, when the pedal stepping-in is completed and the pressing of the femoral support section 6 is released, the air bag 12 is lifted upward by the repulsive force of a spring 9 and air is sucked in the air bag 12. However, when sudden acceleration such as quick start actuates on the fermoral support section 6 and the air bag 12 is pressed powerfully, a great amount of air flows out. However, the ball 22 of an acceleration detection valve 14 closes a suction and exhaust port 21 and prevents air outflow and then supports a body.
