Automatic constant-speed traveling device

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent the automatic constant-speed travel control from being executed unwillingly due to an operational error of a driver or an erroneous action of a computer or the like by inhibiting the execution of the automatic con- stant-speed travel control when the car speed is a low speed less than a predetermined value. CONSTITUTION:When the car speed detected by a car speed sensor 6 generating a pulse signal with a frequency proportional to the car speed is predetermined value or higher, the period of the output voltage V1 of te diode 101 of a switching drive circuit 10 is relatively short and the period of the output voltage V2 of HPF102 is also relatively short. Accordingly, the output voltage V3 of an integration circuit 104 exceeds the threshold voltage of Tr 106, the collector current I0 flows through Tr 106, a relay switch 9 is turned on, and the automatic constant-speed control can be performed via a control circuit 5. On the other hand, when the car speed is less than the predetermined value, the collector current of Tr 106 is nearly zero, the relay switch is turned off, and the control circuit is made inoperative.
