Unloader for withdrawal of catalyst

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent the oxidation of a catalyst at the time of withdrawal and to pulverize a caked catalyst, by attaching a nozzle for injecting a catalyst covering solution and a vibrator for driving a cylinder to the leading end opening side of the cylinder connected to a vacuum apparatus at the base end thereof. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder 25 is vibrated at predetermined vibration frequency by a vibrator 26 and a caked catalyst bed 2 is pulverized by the distributing partition body 28 provided to the leading end of the cylinder 25. Simultaneously with the pulverization by the distributing partitition body 28, the oxidation inhibitor 17 in an oxidation inhibitor receiving tank 18 is supplied to a nozzle 29 through a supply pipe 15. The oxidation inhibitor 17 is sufficiently sprayed to the catalyst at the part pulverized by the distributing partition body 28 from the jet orifices 29A of the nozzle 29 and the pulverized catalyst is sucked in the cylinder 25 along with the oxidation inhibitor 17 in a state distributed by the distributing partition body 28 and further sucked in the catalyst receiving chamber 19 of a vacuum suction apparatus 12 through a flexible pipe 11.
