Production of polyester molding

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a molding of a uniformly mixed polyester by melting a composition comprising an aliphatic polyester polyol and an additive dispersed therein, followed by adding the melt to a polyester consisting of an alkylene terephthalate just before molding it. CONSTITUTION:A dispersed additive composition prepared by mixing 100pts.wt. aliphatic polyester polyol which is shown by the formula (where n is 2-10, preferably an even number, 2, 4, 6 or 8; m is 2-10; x is 5-50, preferably 10-30) and has a melting point of 20-200 deg.C with 20-150pts.wt. additive is melted, and is then added to a polyester polymer consisting of repeating units of which at least 70% comprises an alkylene terephthalate just before molding it and mixed, giving a desired polyester molding.
