Filled soft resin composition
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:The titled composition having good moldability and giving a molded article which is rich in a feeling of softness and has excellent marring resistance, high-temperature dimensional stability, and low-temperature impact strength, prepared by incorporating a PP resin and a particulate or laminar filler into a hydrogenated derivative of a specified block copolymer. CONSTITUTION:The titled composition consisting of 100pts.wt. hydrogenated derivative of a block copolymer (A) of the formula (where A is a monovinyl-substituted aromatic hydrocarbon polymer block; B is an elastomeric conjugated diene polymer block; n is 1-5), 0-50pts.wt. non-aromatic rubber softener (B) (e.g. a rubber softener of a paraffinic mineral oil type), 40-300pts.wt. PP resin (C), 0-200pts.wt. ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer rubber (D) (e.g. an ethylene-propylene copolymer rubber), and 3-150pts.wt. particulate or laminar filler (E) (e.g. a talc). The molded article made by using this composition is rich in a feeling of softness, has excellent marring resistance, high-temperature dimensional stability, and low-temperature impact strength, and is suitable for an automobile bumper, etc.
