Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To edit originals while copying them and complete quickly an edited copy paper by designating a desired area of the first original to start copying and designating a desired area of the second original during this copying and designating desired areas of plural originals repeatedly in this manner. CONSTITUTION:An editing end key indicates the end of editing of an original, and designation of areas is terminated if this key is depressed, but plural areas in the original can be designated optionally unless this key is depressed. A preference key is depressed for the original whose area is preferentially secured if overlapping of areas occurs when areas of many originals are designated. When this key is depressed before, after, and on the way of area designation, a preference flag is set to a RAM where the number of originals is stored. Pressure- sensitive sheet keys determine position information of an editing area frame, and these keys are effective until the editing end key is depressed after depression of an editing start key.
