Scroll shearing device for metallic plate

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To facilitate the application of strips to an installed single press line by shearing a metallic plate in waved shape feeding it in longitudinal direction and making a couple of upper and lower round blades perform waved motion. CONSTITUTION:With a U shaped section 8b twisted up and down, a hook type frame 8 so supports a couple of upper and lower round blades 7 at such a position as to be rotated freely through a shaft 9 and to shear a strip (f). Another end of the frame 8 is supported by a shaft 10 in a guide groove in a state of free swinging and sliding. The rotation of a disk 20 caused by a pinch roller 13 gives reciprocating motion to the shaft 10 making the round blades 7 perform waved motion on the strip (f). The strip (f) is pulled with the roller 13 to be divided into two (2) skelp (g) and (h) being discharged.
